Exit Intent Trigger is a powerful trigger that is available for any type of popup you create with Instant Popup Builder. It detects when a user is about to leave your website and displays a popup at the perfect moment to grab their attention, increasing engagement and conversions.

How to Use Exit Intent Trigger

You can easily apply the Exit Intent feature when creating or editing a popup in Instant Popup Builder. Here’s how:

1. Create or Edit a Popup
   Start by creating a new popup or opening an existing one you wish to update.

2. Access Trigger Settings
   Go to the Settings tab, then select Trigger.

3. Select Exit Intent Option
   In the Trigger section, click the dropdown menu.

   • Look for the Exit Intent option.

   • If you don’t see it, make sure you have installed the Exit Intent extension.

4. Configure Device Settings

   • Choose where you want the Exit Intent trigger to work: Desktop, Tablet, Mobile, or a combination.

   • Check the appropriate boxes according to your needs.

5. Adjust Sensitivity Level
   Set the sensitivity level to control how easily the popup should be triggered based on user movement.

6. Publish or Update

   • If you’re creating a new popup, click Publish.

   • If you’re editing an existing popup, click Update to apply the new settings.

Tips for Best Results

• Desktop Users: A medium sensitivity usually works best.

• Mobile Users: Consider slightly higher sensitivity due to touch screen behavior.

• Targeting: Combine Exit Intent with advanced targeting rules for even better performance.
