The Sign Up / Login Popup add-on for Instant Popup Builder lets you show login and registration forms inside a popup modal.

Visitors can log in, create a WordPress account, or switch between both forms without leaving the current page.

What the add-on does

The Sign Up / Login Popup allows visitors to:

• Log in to an existing WordPress account
• Create a new WordPress account
• Use login and registration forms inside a popup
• Submit forms without a full page reload
• See validation messages directly inside the popup

The add-on uses standard WordPress authentication and registration. It does not replace the WordPress user system or create a separate user database.

Requirements

Before using this add-on, make sure:

1. Instant Popup Builder is installed and active.
2. Sign Up / Login Popup is installed and active.
3. Make sure the Sign Up / Login Popup license is activated in the Instant Popup > license.

WordPress registration requirement

If you want visitors to create accounts, WordPress registration must be enabled.

To enable public registration:

1. Go to Settings → General in WordPress admin.
2. Find the Membership option.
3. Enable Anyone can register.
4. Save your changes.

If WordPress registration is disabled, you can still use a login-only popup. You can also choose whether to hide the sign-up tab or show a custom message when registration is unavailable.

How form submission works

Login and registration forms submit in the background using AJAX. This means the page does not fully reload during submission unless your success action is set to refresh or redirect the visitor.

Privacy and security

Passwords are handled by WordPress. The add-on does not store passwords in its own tables.

For security, use HTTPS on your website so login and registration details are sent over an encrypted connection.

If you collect GDPR consent during registration, make sure your privacy policy, terms page, and consent wording meet your legal requirements.
