Creating an Email Template in the Subscription Module (Pro)
With the Subscription Pro Extension, you can build complete subscription campaigns, including automated welcome emails, follow-up messages, and occasional newsletters. Once the Pro extension is installed, all templates and automation features under the Integration and Configuration tabs become available.

- How the unsubscribe link is generated
Important: You must have at least one active subscription popup to create an auto-responder campaign.
About Email Templates
Email Templates are used for:
- Auto-responders (welcome emails, confirmation emails, follow-ups)
- Newsletter campaigns
- General subscription-related communication
You can create multiple templates and use them across different campaigns or reuse the same template for multiple popups.
How to Create an Email Template
Step 1 — Navigate to Template Settings
Go to: Instant Popup > Configuration > Templates
Here you will see your existing templates and the option to Add New.
Step 2 — Click “Add New”
A modal window will open, allowing you to create your new email template.
Step 3 — Enter Template Details
Template Name
Give your template a recognizable name.
Example: Monthly Newsletter Template, Welcome Email, Discount Offer Email
Category
Choose a category, such as:
- Newsletter
- Auto-Responder
- Invoice
- Custom categories you created
Content Builder Explained
Inside the Content Builder, you can design your email using a visual editor.
You can customize:
- Fonts and sizes
- Bold, italics, underline
- Text and background colors
- Alignment
- Lists
- Images
- Buttons
- Links
- HTML mode (for advanced users)
This allows you to design a complete, professional-looking email.
Using Template Tags
Click Insert Template Tag to open the list of dynamic tags you can use in your emails.
Template Tags automatically pull subscriber and campaign information into your email. Examples include:

Using Fallback Values
If a subscriber name is missing, you can set a fallback:
This ensures your email still reads naturally.
Creating Auto-Responder Emails
Once your email template is saved, you can assign it to an Auto-Responder:
- Go to Instant Popup → Integration → Auto-Responder
- Select your subscription popup
- Choose your template
- Set timing (send instantly, after X hours, days, etc.)
Creating Newsletter Emails
Newsletters use the same Email Templates area:
- Create a template
- Go to Instant Popup → Newsletters
- Choose your email template
- Select recipients
- Schedule or send immediately
Unsubscribe Page (Automatically Created)
When Subscription Pro is installed, the plugin automatically adds an unsubscribe page for users.
Add an unsubscribe link to your email footer:

This ensures your campaign complies with email marketing best practices.
Saving Your Template
Once your content is ready:
- Click Save
- Your template will be added to your Template Library
- You can now use it in auto-responders or newsletters
