How to use Newsletter Campaigns tool in Subscription Pro Extension
The Newsletter Campaign feature in Instant Popup Builder’s Subscription Pro Extension allows you to compose, schedule, and send newsletters to your subscribers. You can associate campaigns with specific subscription pop-ups or subscriber labels, and you can reuse or customize email templates for each newsletter.
This guide walks you through the entire process with detailed explanations of each step and interface section.
Pre-Requirements
Before creating a newsletter campaign, make sure:
- A Subscription lightbox popup is active
- At least one Email Template exists (you may also customize or build a new one while creating the campaign)
Step 1 — Navigate to Newsletter Campaigns
Go to: Instant Popups → Configuration → Newsletter
Here you will see all existing newsletter campaigns.
To create a new one, click Add New, and a modal window titled Create New Campaign will open.
Step 2 — Basic Campaign Information
This section lets you define the core details for your newsletter:
Campaign Name
Enter a descriptive name for internal use.
Example: December Deals Newsletter, Weekly Updates, etc.
Status
Defaults to Draft.
You can keep it in Draft until you’re ready to finalize and send.
Campaign Associations
In this section, you choose who will receive the newsletter.
You can associate the campaign with:
1. Subscription Campaigns (Popups)
These are your active subscription popups.
Selecting one will send the newsletter to all subscribers collected through that popup.
2. Labels (Optional)
Labels allow advanced segmentation.
For example: VIP Users, Free Trial Users, Beta Testers, etc.
You may choose:
- Only campaigns
- Only labels
- Or both
At least one campaign OR one label is required.
You can also create new labels using the Manage Labels button.
Sender Details
Configure who the email appears to be from:
Sender Name
Displayed in the recipient’s inbox.
Examples:
- Your Store Name
- Customer Support
- Instant Popup Builder Team
Sender Email
Email address from which the newsletter will be sent.
Email Content Setup
Here you design the actual content of your newsletter.
Subject Line
This is the email subject your subscribers will see.
Tip: Keep it short, clear, and engaging.
Email Template (Optional)
You can select an existing email template.
Once selected, the content loads into the editor and can be customized without affecting the original template.
Email Content Editor
Use the rich text editor to:
- Format text
- Add images
- Insert links
- Create lists
- Add promotional content
A helpful tip appears below the editor:

The scheduling section lets you decide when your newsletter should be sent:
Send Immediately
The newsletter is sent as soon as the campaign is created.
Save as Draft
Use this if you want to continue editing later.
Schedule for Later
Allows you to choose a specific date and time—for example, scheduling a holiday sale announcement.
After choosing an option, click:
Create & Send Campaign (or Save, depending on your selection)
